Like other walls of the Piusa valley, Härma sandstones date back to the Devon stage and sedimented in the shallow sea 370 million years ago. The height of Oruperve wall reaches up to 43 meters and the length of the outcrop is 150 meters. The Kõlgusniidu pyramid shaped wall is 20,5 m high and is one of the most beautiful of its kind with brightly coloured layers of clay.
