The Boroni River and Primeval Valley

Category Natural attractions, Natural attractions
Illuka vald, Ida-Virumaa
Coordinates 59.172718, 27.799273
GPS: 59° 10' 22" N, 27° 47' 57" E

Ferns reach to the chest of a grown man, thick soft moss on tree
boles… only ecological footprints here are fishermen made.
Since coming to the valley from the West is hindered by the
Alutaguse bog, untouchable and unknown its self, the first men
here were probably Votes, people practically extinct after the
Stalinist era.
