This church has a rare tower. Having been circular which is
already rare enough it collapsed in the 17th century and was
rebuilt flat from one side so it has a shape of a half pencil. The
church bell in the tower from 14th century is Estonia’s oldest. The
memorial to stillborn children by the eastern wall adds even more
gloomy archaic charm to the church.
