The tavern house was built in the 19th century and it is a typical roadside tavern with on stable. The tavern belonged to the Sõmerpalu manor. During the conversion into dwelling house the tavern lost its original shape.
The house is located near the Osula crossing at the Võru-viljandi roadside.
