Koni aka Puhja Windmill

The Dutch windmill in Puhja was built in 1893 by a man called Jaan Koni. This type of wooden windmills were wide spread in Southern Estonia. Unfortunately it has lost its wings. It was as late as in the 1930s that there were about thousand windmills working in Estonia.
