Since the year 1885 a white castle along with its towers has caught everyone's eyes in the heart of Alatskivi.
The main building of the manor was built by the example of Balmoral castle and projected by the local owner of the manor, baron von Nolcken himself. Over the years the manor house has had different functions but since 2011 it is open for all guests in its full glory.
The Visiting Center
Introducing the castle as a residence of one family and providing an overview of the history and restoration of the castle. The exposition of manor servants, along with the exhibition of wax figures, is open; an overview of the history of manors in Tartu county is available. From the castle's costume storage costumes of manor residents or servants can be loaned and the life centuries before experienced.
The Museum of Tubin
The exposition of the museum provides an excellent overview of the life and work of Eduard Tubin, one of the most famous Estonian composers. The museum has manuscripts, recordings and books of Tubin for viewing and listening; the interpreters of his work are introduced, also musical instruments, recordings and theatre booklets connected with Tubin. Films and photos made by Tubin himself can also be seen. In the Chamber Hall lectures and concerts take place.
Alatskivi Castle Restaurant
The flavours in three different style – the manor cuisine, Estonian cuisine and Scottish cuisine. Alatskivi Castle Restaurant was voted as one of the Estonia's top 50 restaurants in 2011. The acknowledgement was in the category of "Ehedalt eestimaine" (genuinely Estonian).

NB! The museum of servant wax figures, costume storage and workshops are open in the castle's basement since May.
