A legend says a girl is bricked in to the castle. it was a must that the enemy didn’t know
her name or the protecting power will fade. But the enemy forced an old woman to tell it
– it was Anne and the castle was destroyed. Swedes blew the 14th century built castle
up in Russian-Swedish War in 1658 while retreating and unable to keep it.
