The Old Believers’ congregation in Rajaküla has its roots in the 18th century. The first
Old Believers escaping from czar’s violent persecutions occurred in Estonia a century
before. Rajaküla chapel was destroyed in the II World War. The bell-tower is the place
the Old Believers have their sermons in now.
