Historical publications tell us that already in the end of the 18th century in the Maekula (Mäeküla) village of the Jarvamaa (Järvamaa) region in the Middle Estonia there was located a tavern (in 1893 it existed as a tavern of the Sargvere estate).
That is why we can confirm that the Maekula Pub has already existed for centuries, and its thick limestone walls have heard the contented groan continuing after the square meal and refreshing drinks.
It is easy to find us – the pub is located exactly on the roadside of the Tallinn-Tartu Highway (the km 94). There is enough space for several tens of vehicles at the pub’s parking-lot. Near our pub there is also the electric vehicle charging point.
