The Estonian Road Museum is located in the historical premises of the Varbuse postal station.
The museum located at the old postal road displays history of the Estonian roads by exhibiting different vehicles, machines used for building and maintenance of the roads, etc.
The Varbuse postal station complex, protected as an architectural monument, consists of five stone and red brick buildings. These include the main building of the postal station and a coach house, a stable, a blacksmith's shop, a sauna, a laundry room and a dwelling for postmen and saddlers. The Varbuse postal station is the only fully preserved postal station complex in Estonia – you simply have to see it yourself.
