The baptising stone in this church is most unique. Brought from the Anseküla church,
destroyed in 1944, it bears two lines of evil spirits and other creatures. One animal,
bigger than the rest, standing its forepaws up, and having a tail of three branches, is
thought to be marking the priests position while baptising. The creatures on the stone
hint at its Gotlandic origin.
