Kambja church typical by its history – first mentioned in the Middle Ages, in 1330,
severely damaged in different wars – stood a ruin for 45 years after the last war. It is
renovated now and has its church bells made in Moscow still ringing and an oak in the
yard planted by the crown prince of Sweden in 1932 still growing.
