It was by the village Aidu where one of the braking battles of the
Independence War took place. It marks the spot most far to where
managed to encroach a Red Army soldier. Erected in 1929 the
monument got torn down during the Soviet time.
The black lines in the stone parquet symbolize railway - to remember the 30 000 Estonians deported to Siberia. The cornflowers, Estonian national flowers, are always in tears - an effort of the modern water system.
