Our story is rich, and warm, like the flames and coals that grill our food.
We had a strong desire to build a fun restaurant, something new, something from far away but so familiar at the same time.
Using the grill as a stage, our intention was to build an experience with a sense of performance, where people not only ate, but could see and hear the grilling. With only the thought that people would like this “experience” preparations started. When imagining the store, the mental image was one of the restaurant, viewed from the outside, with billowing smoke, and people surrounding the grill, having fun, dining out.Even with the huge support from family and many good friends, it took about a year to fit out and open, it was a great year with ups and downs, but we made it.
Our restaurant intention is to highlighting Japanese food and culture, our food is simple, made with great joy and carefully selected products.
We offer yakitori, sashimi, desserts, good selection of sake, Japanese beer and wines.
We are proud to present you the first Yakitori-ya in Estonia, YakitoriTallinn.
