Sõrve is a peninsula in southwest of Saaremaa with total length of 32 km and maximum width 10 km. It begins with river Salme running through the hamlet and ends with lighthouse on the top of Sääre.

If you are coming from Kuressaare, after 18th km, over the river Salme, on the seaside of the road you can find the Sõrve Guesthouse. In the same building there are also culture center, café, bibliotheca, post office and family doctor and hall with 200 seats.
