Introduction:

This is a monument for the poetess who’s work is said to have
never bended under the Soviet pressure. Having lost her husband
Heiti Talvik, an author as well, first to the Soviet prison and then to

Siberia where he was deported to and where he died it casted a
long and dark shadow on Alver’s work.
