The Martin Klein Bronze Statue (sculptor Mati Karmin) was unveiled in front of the Viljandi Sports Centre in 2002. Martin Klein who won the silver medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games is the first Estonian to win an olympic medal and probably the first Estonian to make it in the Guinness Book of records. He has gone down in the history of wrestling with the longest match: Klein wrestled with Alfred Asikainen from Finland for 11 hours and 40 minutes.
